In 2008, Pam Plesons, began Plow to Porch as a way to connect the Santa Barbara community with local organic farmers. Pam wanted to build a business to simplify the purchase of local fresh organic produce in order to inspire good nutrition, support local farmers, protect our environment and make eating healthy food fun! Although Plow to Porch began as a produce delivery service with the primary goal of bringing organic fruits and vegetables from local farmers to the front doors of members, it has evolved to deliver everything from local sustainable seafood and grass-fed meats to local honey, eggs, and prepared foods from local culinary artisans. Pam believes in collaboration and supporting other small businesses. By working together, we are able to help each other grow and bring the finest produce and products our region has to offer to our community. When not working, Pam loves to cook, paint, ride her bicycle, camp, travel, read and spend time with family and friends.

As someone who loves to cook and support local, Marissa is thrilled to be a part of a team providing farm fresh food to our local community. Marissa is the master of our add-ons, social media, and partner relations. When she isn't at Plow to Porch, you can find her managing a boutique in Montecito, swimming and soaking up the sun at our beautiful beaches, or whipping up delicious meals with all of our organic produce.

Anthony has been living in Santa Barbara since attending UCSB in 2008 where he graduated in 2012. He has been an integral part of Plow to Porch for almost 3 years wearing many hats including communicating with our farmers about crops and availability, ordering and receiving produce and other local products, packing deliveries, maintaining quality control and doing both home and corporate deliveries. He loves the sense of community and the delicious variety of fruits and vegetables that our local farmers provide for us! When he is not working you can usually find him enjoying the beach with his adorable pup, Comatsu, rock climbing, creating culinary masterpieces in the kitchen or reading a book. If you see him out doing deliveries, don't be afraid to say hello. He will always greet you with a smile.

Tom has been working for local farms and farmers' markets for the past 10 years. He farmed for himself for many years growing culinary mushrooms and has been involved in animal husbandry of primarily dairy cows, pigs, and chickens. He recently moved to Santa Barbara to enjoy the coastline, find a partner in crime and be closer to his farmers' market family and friends. Tom is our newest P2P addition and we are super excited to have him join our team. Tom currently works part time packing our bountiful produce boxes and delivering them to our community.
